Winter in Glasgow

Digitally manipulated photographs of bare trees in Queen's Park, inspired by the fairytale weather we're experiencing in Glasgow this winter, and by the work of 2009 Turner Prize winner Richard Wright.

Silver Birch Bark (25 Years Old)

Monochrome study of the tones and textures of the ageing bark of a silver birch (Betula pendula). Ink, watercolour and sgraffito on board; 29.7cm x 22.9cm. Selected for exhibition at the Society of Botanical Artists Silver Jubilee exhibition at Westminster Central Hall, London SW1, Friday 16th to Sunday 25th April 2010. Original artwork sold. Giclee prints available to order: £40.

Silver Birch / Leaf

A study is of a dead leaf from a silver birch (Betula pendula). Silverleaf on board; 14.9cm x 7.7cm. This particular artwork is sold, but a similar version can be commissioned for £50.

Donguri Project
